Surge Suppressors / TVSS
Most computers get hit daily with sags, surges, and noise that can cause system lock-ups and data corruption. Short term increases in voltage, or surges, can occur for a number of different reasons. Surges can be generated externally due to lightning, utility grids switching and electrical accidents or internally due to copiers, generators and large motors. As in any power-dependant application, the ability to suppress unwanted transients is imperative to the longevity of the protected equipment.
